Black RT/10s

I've noticed black RT/10s without the Viper shield in front and having the Viper RT/10 side emblems in black also. I also see black RT/10s with the Viper shield up front and the Viper RT/10 side emblems in a greyish color. Is there an option that causes this?

You can buy the badging and change it around as desired. I'm putting black ones on my yellow RT/10.

Doesn't mean it was repainted.

I'm not an expert on minor changes between model years, but I think you'll find that the specific question you're asking has changed between model years. I had a '95 black R/T and the Viper name on the sides as well as across the back bumper were done in gray/silver. My '99GTS is also black and all the Viper name plates (sides and back) are black just as the car.

John B @ partsrack for badging.I removed the Blk R/T 10 on the sides(stuck em in the door sill area,looks great)and replaced with crome.The removed rear badging and installed R/T 10 MGW plate.
