With the shortened raffle period ( 3 months instead of 6 ) imposed by the Nebraska Gaming Commission, it looks like the sold count on tickets will be around 1500-1600. Your chances are awfully good and it goes to a good cause.

Current count is 1136

For your ticket, view www.blairymca.org

They are only $50 per chance with ALL proceeds going to the YMCA.

Look guys, I've said it before and I will say it again ... I am planning on winning this one! I have already cleared out my garage and painted logos on the walls. In fact, I can feel a serious case of "Yellow Fever" setting in. I think I will go back and work on my garage now.

They are averaging almost 40 a day now, so they should reach the 1500 with no problem, as they are over 1200 now. I am just telling everyone that they may want to get another ticket, as the odds should be terrific!!
www.blairymca.org

Heck, Bonkers, just use your credit card, and then you have 30 days to pay off the ticket !

" Dear Bill, you senile, ancient ,idiot, you gave us a stinkin FAX number!" Well, the phone call was slightly more colorful than that, but well you get the gist.

Phone number for Blair YMCA for a ticket is.........402-533-9622

Heh, at my age, if you can get it right with only two tries, that is success!

Hello everyone, new guy here! Been a Viper lover since I saw the 92s and will hopefully be a Viper owner sometime in 2004. In the meantime, I've bought some raffle tickets and maybe it will be sooner!

I don't know if it's the warm and sunny weather but the Viper/convertible bug has hit me bigtime and I get pangs in my heart for an open top. Now I'm thinking of getting rid of my X5 to get a 95/96 3000GT Spyder to hold me over for a year or 2.

Thank the guys that had a problem before, as they eased the way for the rest of us. Thankfully, a quick call had the YMCA getting flexible for VCA members.

Thanks for your comments.

I was just at Woodhouse this morning. Bill, The White snakes new mate looks good on her perch. I can't wait for July 5 so I can pick it up. What happens when a yellow snake mates with a white and blue snake? I get a little pale green one ta' boot.

Buy 'em up. I think they still need to sell 200 more. Bill, let us know when we reach the minimum sold.

Hey Bill!,

Not to rain on anybody's parade... but what is the taxable value going to be on this car - for the IRS.

Guys, remember - this is going to become 'gambling winnings' - so, save all your 'gambling losses' (lottery tickets, etc...) because the IRS is going to be looking for you come next April 15th. Gambling losses are only deductable from 'gambling winnings'.

Just look at your marginal tax bracket (the tax you pay on the last dollar you earn in the year) and figure that % of the value of the car Bill tells us!... Of course, keep the receipts from the number of tickets you buy... because if you win - that comes off the price (gambling costs) - and if you don't - it should be a 'charitable contribution'...

I hope everyone wins the Viper - but, since that can't be... I want it!... so, to heck with you!

Carl...

You may want to double check that Carl. You may be able to offset winning of this sort agains losing lottery tickets, casino gambling etc.
