Blowing fuse; any suggestions

fuse number 4, 15 amp runs the cig lighter, past week blowing it every day; im not an electrician but that indicates a short somewhereright? everything else working great. only thing new ive done is started using that gtech pro comp "which plugs into the cig lighter"?? possible coincidence??

15amp is a stout fuse, so using the output for other uses wouldn't directly
blow the fuse- but you may have distorted(or stretched)a contact in the lighter socket. Just pull the panel that holds the lighter, and inspect it.
The spot that is shorting out, will probably be visible.

Ditto what HP said

There is a wire on the end of the cig outlet that comes unscrewed (mine fell off twice due to plugging a radar detector in and out) There are little tabs that holds the panel in place. Pops on and off in a minute.
