I have to admit you guys told me ain't no way my mods are going in within two weeks. You all were right. Now, all parts in hand within the next couple of days. So, thought I would give progress updates along the way so all who are contemplating what I am having done can see the expected gains. First post will be a baseline dyno this Wednesday or Thursday. I am having a Paxton S/C, Belanger headers, R/T high flow cats, Corsa Track exhaust, and VEC III installed. Dyno of those mods should be out in a couple of weeks. The non power related mods include KW coilovers and I-Forge wheels in 19 & 20. I'll keep you all updated along the way.:eater:

I was scaring the crap out of myself stock, I guess I'll need to also install the optional passenger side great white knuckle bar too when I'm done. I am so excited to watch this build start and have this viper shed it's skin. He He He He He He..........

Yep, would love to see how you dyno out after the Paxton, headers, Corsa Track, VECIII and r/t high flow cats...you should see some huge gains....your stock numbers seem a bit low...heat/humidity when dynoing the 3 pulls??? let us know!~!~juli

Juli - yes it is very hot and humid down here in Virginia. We figured we lost 18 to 19% through the drive train versus a normal 15 to 17%.

Yeah, we also had problems dyno-ing in the extreme heat/humidity last year...so didn't get the 'correct' a/f ratio corrected for quite a few days. These cars really NEED that cool-down in between pulls...hope that when you dyno, you use the ice packs, and lots of fans!!! Waiting to hear your results when you've fully modded---you will have a BAD-ASS Viper for sure!!!!! Can't wait!!! ~juli

The pic doesn't do them justice. I lost a lot of granularity when I had to compress the pic to get it to post. When I post final pics I'll create a photo album and attach a link to it.

Use photobucket man...much better.

So you are doing the VEC III...are you going to use the split second as well? or are you doing a custom fuel system using the VEC III to run it?

I've got the HRE 545R's polished lips with charcoal centers...simlar look to your Astra's....how wide are the lips on those wheels? I might have some lip envy ;) I think mine are like 3"

These Astras have a 2" lip on the fronts and 5" on the rears. Not doing a split second.

Ok boys and girls its almost done. Paxton S/C, Belanger Headers, R/T Cats, CORSA Track, and VEC III are all in. The IForge wheels are mounted as well.

We are waiting on injectors and an in-tank fuel pump. Once those are received and installed its off for the tune. The numbers should be nothing short of impressive. I'll post those when I have them. Once the tune is complete the KW's are going on and then a four wheel alignment. Hope to get some pics today and will post them if I do.:D
