BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!

I took my car in for service related to a few minor issues (e.g., air conditioning, rear hardtop latches, etc.), and my extended warranty (max care) covered ~$2k in parts alone?! I wouldn't have liked that bill on my credit card... Imagine if it was something significant!

What's the best price I can get on the 'MAX CARE' warranty?

I think my $0 deductible, max care (highest category), 7 yr, 100k mile warranty was about $3k, including the $300 extra charge for buying it in the 3rd year. Fitzgerald Motorsports lists prices on their site (lower than retail), but was higher than this. I may have been able to get a better deal, but went with a relatively close by dealership to use as leverage in getting things covered (they replaced my softtop).
