Another thing to check/question is if the engine was running at the time of impact. You say the valve cover is cracked, it's possible the cover pinched a rocker and caused internal engine damage.

There are some aftermarket carbon fiber hoods $8K (I think) new stock hoods are more. Guesstimate with new factory hood plus other parts if put into perfect like new condition = $25K-$30K If you are just going to race it, I would not even fix cosmetic stuff like the door, just fix it mechanically. From the sound of it your hood is demolished and can't be repaired. These hoods are very hard to repair so most likely it's going to need to be replaced.

Depending on the type of racing your going to do, aftermarket lighter body panels may NOT be allowed (not sure). Maybe check first before deciding on what to do.

Sounds more like 25-30K worth of damage. If you pay 20-25K, you have spent 45-55K by the time you are done. You can probably get a nice, high mileage (but not wrecked) Viper for that much.
