Drove her home over the Holiday weekend and got in this afternoon! I'm now the very proud owner of a pristine '01 GTS. Haven't slept for a week building up to this and probably WON'T for a while. I just keep going out to the garage and grinning.

Doesn't it just figure? A car that has never seen a drop of rain and I get into a couple of sudden thunderstorms in the last 100 miles. Spent the afternoon washing and polishing my new beauty... finally clean enough to take to work tomorrow and give the wife her first ride at lunch. Excited? THAT is an understatement!

Thanks, Guys, for all your help in picking the right car to fall in love with. The power and speed that this critter has is just something that you have to experience to believe.

I'll get some pics up during the week ... for now, it's time to TRY to sleep.

I've heard that many new Viper owners spent the first night sleeping in their car. Not that I did that.

Next stage is fear. Yep, fear of leaving it in the parking lot. Pulling up to a parking spot to take your wife to dinner and then.... "Sorry honey, we can't eat here. I thought I saw a couple of kids skateboarding over there."

Ohhhhhhhhh.... It's a sickness.

Congrats...I have an '01 as well. The grinning doesn't go away any time soon, and the wear marks in the floor on the way to the garage will become noticeable over the next few months.

Yes, get used to it...you'll be doing this for years!!! I've been visiting the garage and grinning for 12 years now. It's just terrible.

I'm thrilled with the car and can't stop going out to the garage to look at it. Anybody know where the PCM is for the '01 GTS? I want to get in on the SCT flash programmer, but I need to get the codes from the PCM.
