I had to repaint my side sills (replaced under warranty) and parts of the roof. A GOOD DC dealer knows the color codes! No problem so far.

However, the front fascia is a pain to paint.

thank goodness i refused to conform and just accept those luckily so infrequent tickets from "the man". i couldnt imagine scwer holes where they simply do not belong. im sure though a good body shop could remedy the situation

rdustman- yeah. The part that really gets me is we can legally drive here w/out front plates. I want this thing OFF of there!!! But it won't happen till I have some cash to blow on hole repair and fascia repaint. O well.

I was in the same boat as you. I bought my 94 RT/10 and the front plate was allready installed.
What I did was to remove the bracket, find a couple small, smooth headed screws and installed them into the holes, then painted the heads body color...Got the correct touch up, code LRN...mines red... and is looks fine from 5 feet away, I wish the front plate had never been installed , but it looks fine now.
Cheers,

I have seen some folks use the small hole plugs that they sell
at PepBoys or other auto supply stores...

They are small black plastic plugs that just pop in the hole.
On a black car there should be no problem at all...(they come black) on different color cars just paint the plug and let dry then install in the hole. Use the touch up paint color of your car.

This would be a very simple repair for a qualified shop with the proper "flex" material. But wait until you get the bill!

Repair can be done on the car, but for a perfect "re-paint" the cover has to come off the car.

After reading a different post about people not putting front plates on their Vipers, I decided to take a close look at the license plate bracket that's already mounted on the front of my 95 RT/10. I bought the car used- the bracket was there when I got it. Turns out the bracket is held in place by 2 screws up underneath (out of sight) and 2 screws right into the nose itself. Ouch. If I should ever decide to remove the license plate bracket assembly, how hard would it be for a body shop to fill in the 2 screw holes? Or is this even possible? I imagine the 2 holes would be pretty unsightly if I were to remove it now w/out having the nose repaired. Any thoughts?

Yep, that's just what mine looks like. I'm not losing any sleep over this, but AM curious to know if it can be repaired. I'd think the holes could be filled in and painted over but who knows, I might be way off.

Just had my facia repainted, cost was around $1000.00. Just make sure they know that a flex additive is necessary. As double venom said, the right flex material must be used to fill holes (there are different types, unfortunately the hard type was used on my facia and cracked).
