Can you get three-spokes on Gen.1 polished instead of chromed?

I really like the three-spokes on Gen. 1's - I know that they can be chromed, but I'd prefer a high polish, is it possible to strip the silver finish and have this done? If so, is it more expensive than chroming? Anyone on the board done this? Pics? Who can I go to if it is something I can do? Thanks.

I have seen them polished and that is the way to go. Not too flashy, but can always be repolished if they get ruined for way cheaper than rechroming the rim. Ask Vipermed, he has a client that has them polished.

I had mine polished and they came up great. The only problem was the guy who did them wouldn't recommend having a clear laquar put on them afterwards as this would cause problems, so if the wheels got wet they would have to wiped dry else or they would go a bit dull overnight. I didnt find this a problem,
on the few occassions it did happen they easily polished back up by hand using T-cut. Brake dust wiped off and could be left on without effecting the polished look. It cost about $100 per wheel, some of the HRE wheels are available polished only.

I think they look pretty good polished. Not a fan of chrome. You could contact John Purner (386) 258-0083
(888) 577-0144, he might be able to polish them for you. He does awesome work on his own wheels.

What a Gorgeous lQQK!! Dodge NEVER should have painted the wheelz when polished looks so much better! Never did care for the wheel design until I saw your pictures. It definately is the painted silver that detracts from the car in my opinion.

The roof and windows worked very well, no leaks, rattles or wind entering the cockpit (with the roof on ;) ) I got the first direct UK sale without going through JH which was nice as I saved over $2K on the parts alone nevermind shipping and taxes which I would have incured, I only had to wait 3 days after placing the order before collecting. The company (Rawlsons) also made all the JH venom RT and GTS aero kits. They have since closed down.....
