HAS ANYONE INSTALLED THE CARBON FIBER WINDSHIELD COWL OFFERED BY SVSI OR BOBBY ARCHER (VIPERSPEED)? JON B ALSO SELLS ONE THAT IS A CARBON FIBER "LOOK ALIKE". ANY COMMENTS ON APPEARANCE, FIT AND QUALITY? PICTURES? SUGGESTIONS? THANK-YOU.

The only one's I have seen are from Hennessey. Quality and fit look good - $700-800 price tag is ridiculous.

Jon B. - what is your pricing? Anyone else?

ANTHONY IS RIGHT. THE HENNESSEY PRICE TAG IS WAY HIGH. I DON'T WANT TO BE QUOTING OTHER TUNERS PRICES BUT THE SVSI AND PARTSRACK
PRICING IS AROUND THE 400.00 - 450.00 RANGE.
BOBBY ARCHER IS GETTING SOME IN NEXT WEEK AND DOES NOT HAVE PRICING YET. I THINK THAT THE CARBON FIBER COWL WOULD BE A NICE APPEARANCE ITEM FOR THE CAR.

Carbon Fiber cowl? Quality? $700 - $800? Man I wish I had that kind of disposable income and nothing better to do with it. I'm sorry, but I just don't understand spending that kind of money on a cowl. It has no function, no performance spec, no real requirements other than to bolt up and provide a transition from the glass. I guess if your car is adorned with other Carbon Fiber parts then it might blend in. Otherwise....?

There are other more expensive unnecessary objects I find some humor in as well, and many my wife introduced me to, like $1200 shoes which had gold trim. Like who is going to get that close to her shoes to tell they are real?

I guess if she reads this my butt might...
