cassette player?

Hi, wondering if anybody knows why they would put a cassette player in a 94 viper from the factory? I had a cd player back in 1989. I,m not really complaining I love the car but back in 1994 when customers were paying up to $20,000 over sticker for these cars it just seems kind of odd.

A friend of mine bought a 2005 350Z in Arizona that came with a cassette as well as CD. Go figure, I guess some people still wanted them.

Simple... tons of people had cassettes back then.

My '94 has the original tape player and the CD changer in the trunk..still in operation. Hell, you can't hear it anyway who cares????

I have an 8-track player from my '72 vette if ya' want it haha
