Just wndering, was there ANY changes on the GTS from 2001 to 2002 besides color choices? By changes, I mean ANYTHING, even things like different color screws! lol

Nope.I bet the wait is killing you.James Purcell and I will hook up and try to get to VOI 7 in a local caravan.When you join VCA let us suggest joining the Ontario Canada VCA.Thats where we belong.They have a lot of events close by just across the border.I'm not knocking the NY group but in reality most of their events are 8 hours away(If you're going the speedlimit).They are a nice bunch of people and my wife and I met up with them on a fingers lake cruise to wine country one weekend.We'd do it again in a minute when they have another event somewhere around the half-way point.I have a saphire gts and Jim has a yellow rt-10.What model and color are you getting? Bruce

abs was introduced in 2001. my understanding is there was an abs update in 2002.

GTS Bruce: I have done a little bit of talking with Jim, so I most likely will join up where ever he is currently. I would rather go along with someone who has had a year jump on me than make a bad decision and have to switch... as for the 8 hour trips... I dont think i'll be doing that...lol! I right now have my name on one of the 2002 Red/Stone White Final GTS's, but I MAY switch and get a new 2001... there is a few around and it will save a LOT of $$$. according to everyone, the only change between 2001 and 2002 was in the ABS, but that was speculation and turned out not to be true. I asked Bill Pemberton, and he said when they held the supposed "changed" parts next to each other, they were the same! it was just a change in Part Number by DC's supplier.
DADSVPR: on that page you listed the frame weld update... by TSB thing off to the side, did you mean it was done on all 2001's from the factory, and was a TSB for 96-00? or did you mean it was done for 2002 and was a TSB for 96-01?

JIM: do you happen to know who owns a yellow viper and was always hanging out in Tim Hortons on Niagara Falls Blvd over this last summer? I believe there was also a Blue/White GTS in there with him a few times...

Well the notorious 1996 pre production blue/white stripe
GTS was owned by a local police officer. then he sold in it in the buffalo news. So now i dont know who has it??? but I assume that it may still be local.
that might be the one!!??
I heard that there was yellow gts in the NF area but no one I know and so far no other posts from WNY except Bruce and I.
there is Alan red98gts (i think that is right?) out in Rochester area.
now if we can get Dan from the viper shop to franchise so we can get our mods done without major headache (Ship here, flatbed there, can't keep it here for 1 week while you ship parts out).
We will be all set.
there are 2 viper techs mine is John at Walden dodge
and bruce has Dave at Hamburg dodge.

Well, that is very good to know that there is Viper techs around here. I wonder if Northtown has one as well? I have seen a few Vipers in there... so maybe.
By the way... did that Yellow Viper GTS you heard of have a HUGE, and i mean HUGE spoiler on it? It supposedly looks like a Venom 600, but I have been told that it is a look alike, and thats it. (as if the GTS isnt fast enough that you have to go make yourself look like a *****?)

I think Alan Depew has a white with blue stripes in the area with a wing.I don't have one(wing) because I'm not interested in slowing the car down or trying to figure out which front end treatment to use to balance it in a car that already gets nose light at speed. Bruce
