Mark,

Thank you very much for your observations.

Hopefully, DC is well on their way to remedying the main design flaws and what we'll get this fall will be worthy of the Viper nameplate.

Alliemax, The Illinois VCA will be moving our monthly meeting site closer to you. It is the first Wed of each month at Max and Erma's in Burr Ridge. I-55 exit 276, then 1 block south. It would be about an hour cruise for you. If you have an interest in performance driving events our calendar and application should be going out in a few days. Come on up, we'd like to meet you.

I agree with you ALLIEMAX. The SRT-10 does not apeal to me either. But I saw a PIC of what the GTS version of this car may look like if Chrysler gives it a green light in 07. They can put me down for one if it ever happens. I think what's happening is that in some cases like me for example, not all of us are open top car guys. Although I almost became one with the most beuitiful ******* Viper, the Gen I. I had a red with tan interior 95 "Last 300 side exhuast." series car. But when I saw the GTS in 96 I fell in love all over again, not the case with the SRT-10. I attribute this partly to not being a convertible car fan. But also because of the Honda 2000 Camaro look as well.To bad the Club meetings are going south from me. But I understand the motivation. And agree with the move as a club member. Even though I would hve to drive two hours this time to get to the meetings.
