That *****... why don't they just open the box and see if it's warped before they send it out? I saw helpful responses suggesting you screw the bottom down into a block of foam. While I'm sure it would work, my factory fascie didn't have that warping, so why should yours? Should be the same part, I'd think.

Is there any way to get the people on the phone who actually ship these things out and tell them to open the box and check 'em before they send them to you?

Maybe you could just stripe the car- that would help hide the problem a bit

Seriously though, I think that parts will be the weak link in the future of the Viper. From what I read on this board they are already discontinuing making some crucial parts.

I guess that means that our cars will still be worth a bunch even if they have 200,000 miles on them(assuming they were well kept up).

Hey DC- get this guy a proper part!

Matt,

This isn't really germane to your question, but how do you manage to send a picture with your post? While I can send attachments with my email, I still haven't figured out how to do it with an item on the discussion board.

I know I'm technologically challanged, but it can't be too difficult.

Thanks...

Don

Matt,

Interesting that you seem to have the same problem that I do. My rear fascia is warped(as new on my '01) and I am getting a new one from DC. I will let you know how it comes in and whether or not it works as a replacement.

Hey Matt, Do you have the foam inserts in your facia? I think that would cure the problem if you had them glued.

Ab-

I have talked to a couple of people who sells facias and not one of them said anything about foam inserts. I don't think they make the inserts for the bottom. Do you know who has them?

Mike, I'll assume you're talking to me.

I have not taken any photos of the facias other than the first one put on my car now. My insurance(Progressive) rep, Lori, has taken pictures of one or two of them.
