On Saturday 9/14 Ontario and Motor City Viper club members were treated to a spectacular day with Team Viper VIP members and Stellantis executives. The vast Chrysler vehicle collection is incredible, and seeing the Viper race cars displayed along the Viper's former engine line was special. Ralph Gilles led a panel discussion with the Gen V's Team Viper designers at Conner, some of whom also designed the new Daytona Charger, and some then spoke of its design at M1 alongside new Dodge CEO Matt McAlear and Dodge/SRT SVP Kevin Hellman. Matt and Kevin led Viper parade laps around the M1 track in their AWD Daytona R/T and Scat Pack, with me as passenger in the 670 hp Scat Pack that accelerates to 60 in the same 3.3 seconds as my '14 TA! And Team Viper VIP's signed a lot of Vipers which was very cool. Thanks to the Stellantis execs and Team Viper VIP's for supporting this amazing Viper event. Report with photos and videos coming.
