So far, I have had two fairly major bits of warranty work done on my 2001 GTS at the Irvine Chrysler Neighborhood Care. They didn't offer me anything to write this! (Maybe I shouda asked?!)

The smaller thing was the water pump, a 2001 weak point. Pete, their Viper tech, did the work flawlessly, and it has been thousands of miles and many months since then, and everything is still tight, and no leaks ever. He musta done something right!

The bigger repair of the two was replacing the transmission, which wouldn't return to nuetral. (Wasn't the shifter) Also got a new lighter aluminum flywheel, which I shoulda done from day one. (What were they thinking?) New interior trim, too.

Got my car back in one piece, no extra miles on it, as clean as when I brought it in.

What can I say? Great job, Pete! Oh yeah, and Richard and Terry, too!

They seem to be one of the last Viper qualified dealers around. I've been to Glen Thomas and Dodge World (in Torrance) and they were lost when it came to Vipers.

Neighborhood Service seems to be qualified, but they have had problems resolving my detonation, engine heat and engine surge issues on my Arrow Racing rebuild. I have been there 3 times and they have yet to do anything other than the recall stuff. It's getting pretty frustrating and I am running out of options and patience.

Just to add to the OC Dodge service info.. Have had some work done at Foothill Dodge (timing cover gasket, etc) which was done well, however still not confident with the tech.. I also need a clutch/PP - have read positive posts for DJ/VictoryVipers (new shop in San JuanCap).. Vic/ Brad - thoughts?

Brad, Sorry to hear of your probelms. Have you talked to Dave Jenkins, or Dan Cragin? Talk to as many people as you can. Have you posted your issue here in the forum? Lots of talent in here...wish you the best....

Paul, If I need something done that is not covered by warranty, I would DEFINITELY bring it to DJ! He really knows his stuff, and knows how to do it right. If he could do warranty work, I'm sure he would be flooded with cars!
