Chuck needs our help, and I'll do anything I can for the guy, but I'm afraid there are way too many posts already and organization is getting lost. It's obvious the whole club wants to help out. If that's the case, the the club's top guys need to start calling the shots and get to one organized plan. All these posts are going all over the place and time is not on our side.

I could be wrong, but I'd rather see leadership get organized on Chuck's behalf and the rest of us get behind it. Too many cheifs and not enough indians.

If we really want something to happen, we need to be organized. We need a meeting. One post, delete the others, consolidate, get organized.

I'll bring chips. :)

So let me get this straight... you're lodging a legitimate complaint about too many threads and lack of organization by... starting another thread? Irony my friend. :D

Not a complaint, a suggestion. I had hopes that this thread would cosolidate the others but this is already gone nuts.

Hope we get something done for you Chuck.

I agree, the sigs are a nice gesture of support but gestures don't pay the bills. If the VCA sets something up I would be more than happy to make a donation. :2tu:

Donations? What is it that Chuck would need a donation for? They are trying to strong arm him into selling/shutting down his dealership. What exactly are we paying/funding? I say if you REALLY want to help Chuck, buy some damn cars from him. It might be an inconvenience, but **** enclosed transport can pretty much get to you where ever you are, and you know Chuck will take complete care of you, and send you the car you want, and it wont have any stories, it will be just as new as any local dealerships cars coming from the same mfg'er.

Also, and I am OBVIOUSLY a HUGE proponent of Tators, but that article while supporting Tator, is saying that Chrysler is denying they are trying to do anything. So I appeciate that chuck is being pre emptive, but what can be done until Chrysler officially tries to shut him down? Excuse the ignorance if I am not up to speed/par with all the other threads.. but I'm trying to understand.

Chuck, what brands do you sell? Can we at least start by buying cars from you in an attempt to get your volume up? Do you get enough allotments to fill a number of requests? Sounds like they might not even give you enough cars even if you had the orders for them?

Whats the deal on VIPERS... can you get 08's and 09 ACRs ? How many ?

You're a dealership and yes , I get a HUGE Viper service center, but lets see what we can do to make everyone happy.. Chrsyler wants you to sell cars... and we like to buy them at great prices..

What about extended warranties? Would that help? I just bought a 08 JEEP SRT8, would getting an extended warranty from you, help 'volume' at all?

Let us know SPECIFICALLY what we can do.

Andrew, my friend, you are ON to something here...you're correct...I think maybe the moderators could combine all the threads together? I am getting lost...too many threads on same subject. ~juli

And so comes the moderator's quandry of the ages....If we *merge* the threads together, then all posts get stacked by date and all coherence is lost. If we just pick a forum (General Viper Discussions, for example) and put them all there, then the thread starters (and others) complain that that forum doesn't get as much visibility as the Gen1/2/3 forums do. Not all of the "Tator" threads have the same theme/message to them (i.e. some started as T-shirt threads, some were links to magazine articles, etc.)

What would be helpful is if people stopped starting NEW Tator threads and stuck to the existing ones (no Andrew, I'm not talking about you, you have a valid point, it's just easier said than done).

I'm certainly open to suggestions though!

For once, Jon is correct. It should be made clear exactly what can be done to help Tator's handle the business issues with Chrysler. Legal issues can come later if need be. So what can help?

1. Buying more cars presumably? But is there anything else? Warranties? Parts? Service?
2. What cars does Tator's sell specifically? Just Dodge? Any Dodge, or only some?
3. What sales volume or other action is necessary to remove hassling from Chrysler? It seems they want a certain level deposit (never wanted before), and how much sales would be necessary to warrant actually making that level deposit?

Specifics are important here, and while petitions and donations (if any legal action is necessary) are nice, getting the root issue resolved is probably the best route.

Maybe to really help we all need to buy new Dodges from Chuck? Anyone looking for a new Ram truck or minivan? Chuck, if you only have 7 new cars on the lot, tell us the year and model of each please ( and color?):usa:
