I had always driven Corvettes until the purchase of my '94 R/T 10. Therefore, I continue to get Mid America Designs' catalogues every few months. In it, they advertised a cleaning kit for convertible rear windows. Since my factory windows were somwehat scored and cloudy, I decided to try their product. The cost is approximately $30 and it contains a two components: a mild abrasive cleaner and a final sealer.

While the treatment didn't provide completely clear windows, it improved the appearance and visibility significantly.

Perhaps others offer similar kits, but I just happened to try this one and was quite satisfied with the results.

I am a commercial diver-contractor and use a number of different produts to keep the Lexan ports clean in my helmets and found that they also work quite well for plastic windows. Tap plastics sells a good compound for about $9.00 and if the windows are really bad toothpaste works very well to clean them up and improve visibility. Just use a good wax like Zano after using the polish and they will stay clear for a long time.
