Paul,

I have 2 dish network dishes connected to 3 different satellites and I love their service. But be careful. The dish and receiver are free, but Speedvision is only available is a pretty big (expensive) service package...

Expensive? Guess it is all relative.

Our cable TV rates are now $31.50/month for a measly 25 channels. I have been waiting to make the switch the Dish Network when Cable $ =Dish $ .....and so I could have Speed Vision

..... The Dish $31.99/month package now includes it... yea haa! Of course our house would need a second receiver so that ads another $4.95/mo. For an initial equipment and install of $225 and and extra $5.50/month it is looking real inviting. Am I reading the Dish rate info correctly?

I was hoping our cable compay would get their act together and add affordable cable models..... no go there, so I now have DSL... cable is leaving our house soon. Only question is if it is prudent to wait for the new 20" dish?

Sorry if the tone of my post was not clear. I LOVE my dish network setup. We have 2 receivers and get the "Everything" package for $70 a month (plus $5 for the second receiver). It includes about 42 preimum movie channels. We NEVER rent tapes anymore and PPV is very infrequent in our house now.

I would recomend it to anyone over cable!!!
