I had this put on my 2001 today and what a difference. It makes the car much more fun and comfortable to drive.
It lowered the clutch petal to match the height of the other petals. And it made engagement of the clutch easier.(don't have to put all the way to the floorboard)
So now I can shift much quicker.
Also this was one of my cheapest upgrades only $24.95!!!
I recommend it highly and can only wonder why it didn't come from the factory this way??
Oh yea, I was able to get this from sean roe at www.roeracing.com

best wishes
Jim

I am sooo bad. I bought one last year along with Sean's smooth tubes and filters and they just sit there on the shelf. I also have a short shifter from Rich Detert and it just sits there also. What is wrong with me? haha

I put that on last week and it is an improvement. It requires quite a bit of patience and the ability to contort your body to get the part on. Definitely follow the instructions regarding the duct tape, if those bushings drop behind the carpet at the firewall you'll be bumming.

Nice tech you got there. Actually the first time I went out there I told myself no way too. Then I decided, just screw it and tough it out, LOL.

Someone I know has done it on a 2000. It looks the same length but when you get the old one off you will see that the new one is indeed smaller.

I have one on my 2000 RT/10 and it definitely lowered the clutch pedal from the factory position.

Will this clutch pedal mod fit the Gen I non-adjustable clutch-brake pedal assembly?

My Gen I clutch pedal position is too high as well.......

Thanks in advance,
Lance
