clutch play

my 09 has 100 on it and I notice about 2 inches of travel at the top with the clutch is this normal or can it be tightened up.

You can try and have it bled to see if there could be any air in that system.

Tap the pedal repeatedly and see if it firms up. The free play on my '09 would change and if I tapped the pedal several times it would come back to normal. I drained the nasty dirty fluid out and replaced it with fresh stuff and thoroughly bled the system. Not nearly as bad as before but still does it.
