I need to press the clutch all the way to the floor to get it to disengage. I have a high miles 94, just bought it. I don't think the pedal release point can be normal. Also, when I try to shift at high rpm the clutch seems not to disengage at all. The shifter does not want to come out of gear. It shifts ok at low, normal driving, rpm. The clutch shows no sign of slip. The question is.... Are these symptoms typical of a clutch in need of replacement, or do they sound like a linkage adjustment, if any, or hydraulic cylinder failure?

joe117,
About the only thing you could try befor you remove the Transmision is to bleed the hydraulic system. Get yourself a Service Manual!! If you want give me a call, maybe I can help you over the phone?
