Never had a problem on any car with coil packs really. They either work or they don't. Should notice a power loss, a miss, an SES light, etc. Hope this helps some
Had a coil pack blow on the track at Sebring 2 weeks ago. Car was missing and clearly down on power. Some kind a short between the 3 and 7 stakes that ultimately went ****! Took a while to figure out the problem... Darn those things are a pain to get to!
