Dynoed the creampuff last night with the Macedo Airbox and the updated Roe VEC2. Car made 565 hp and 603 torque. This is up about 22 HP and 23 TQ from the last dyno that was 543 Hp and 580 Torque. The two significant changes from the last dyno was the Macedo airbox and the Update Roe Vec2. The new Vec 2 program allowed Larry to dial the computer in with more fuel, less fuel, more timing and less timing where and when needed. Larry spent about three hours on the computer and the dyno squeezing out these increases, big thanks to him and for staying up until midnight dialing my car in. Also thanks to Sean Roe for cutting his dinner time to give Larry the codes needed to tune my Vec2. If we had an even more powerful fan we might have been able to make even more power with the airbox. Not bad for a stock internal engine with cast pistons and bolt ons, that is daily driver in every sense, no matter the distance or if it is 20 f or 95 f outside. Now I only need a 10 second pass on drag radials. Thanks Larry from one happy customer. :headbang:

Congrats John. Larry is the man. Now, all I need to do is get my car to him and let him do his magic. Boy, I don't even know my car any more. Have not driven her in sooooo long. Just lost that "love" to drive her after my wife's medical situation. The car became "unimportant". Now, things are looking up, I might have to get Larry to unleash his magic upon the beast. I am glad I did not sell the car a few weeks ago. Just could not see myself enjoying her when my wife was in such despair. Am so glad I turned down that great offer. Now, seeing light at the end of the tunnel, I will have to call Mr. Macedo and have him install that beautiful airbox in his first ever Roe SC Viper.

You have one beautiful car there. Enjoy it.

Bindy,

So sorry to here that you wife has had a tough time, I am glad to hear that she is getting better. I am also glad that you did not sell the Viper, it is not a good time to sell them anyway, better to enjoy them and let them appreciate. There is a dyno day Friday at Larry's shop, maybe you could break away and come an enjoy some Viper camaraderie.
