Well folks, elections have consequences.

Here is one little consequence of our last go round of voting.

You got a newer Pick-up truck, SUV or other gas guzzler, the boys and girls in congress want you to crush it. They do not want any good old American Tough vehicles on the road. If it drinks to much gasoline - CRUSH IT!!!!!

They will give you something for it. $4,500 or so - if your vehicle is worth more - that's all you get.

I am getting on my computer to mail my senators to let them know I oppose this mess. Of course it is to late to tell our representatives - they already passed the bill. If your representative is a democrat - your representative voted for it. I guess that is not quite true. 11 democrats voted against it with all of the republicans. However, more than enough democrats voted for the bill.

So you wanted change, now you are starting to see the change our new president has been talking about.

Enjoy the ride . . .Paul

Here is the website to check it out: Article Detail

You can look up senate bill S247 and house bill HR 520 on google to get the real text of the bills

BWAHAHAHHAHAHAHBAHAHAH

Oh man that was funny.
Thanks for the weekend laugh.

Any other brilliance coming out of DC?
How about, "Sun is too bright. Congressional bill started to send 'dimmer' nukes to Mercury and build e-brake for Earth's rotation".
I can't wait.

I'd love to sit here and mock politicians and their alarmist friends, but I need to get to the hockey game.....where it's WARM.

OK, well I just happen to be looking for an SRT8 Jeep and I'll trade a gas guzzling 14mpg 500hp 440 resto-mod Duster for it.

Don't worry about line-ups I'll reply to all enquiries. Modified machines get first look.

Trade your "crush bait" for a piece of Hemi Orange History! Only 7,000 miles on car since build.

Send me a PMwith pics!!! Canada will take you "junker" new SUVs and 4x4 pickups!!! ($4500 - maybe I'll take 3?)

Kevan is right. Those idiots should do something that would save the world. They should pass laws against any Forest Fires or Volcanos EVER! They should spend some money and have firefighting equipment and people that put fires out immediately instead of letting them burn up half of California.

Talk about pollution, Mt. St. Helens pumped enough Pollution into the atmosphere that we could all drive oil burners for well over `100 years and we couldn't equal that amount of pollution! Forest Fires? One look at the smoke from hundreds of miles away kinda says everything you need to know, doesn't it?

Instead they blame US for every problem in the world. They ignore crime because they spend so much money taking quality care of criminals and educating them instead of eliminating the problems. Save the criminals so that crime can go higher every year - oh, it does, doesn't it?

Fire fighting is dangerous - if you actually fight the fire -send the criminals to fight the fire!

There, see how many serious problems I've just solved??? "Ted for Pres."

In some places they do something like that.
I remember seeing video of inmates filling bags of sand during the flooding of the Midwest this past summer.

Kind of scary when an inmate does more in 4 days than a politician does in 4 years.

At least it's only trucks and not mandatory, yet.............

Sounds a little like the eminent domain laws on the books- if it helps the common good(supposedly), than the Guvment can take it from you:omg:
