Curious as to why owners are selling or sold their Vipers

I'm quite surprised to see a significant number of Vipers for sale, considering these are low production cars. Are most owners super rich, and they just got tired of cars easily? Or, they felt that these cars won't last (close to 100K or 100K+ miles)?

I'm sure most owners are meticulous, or follow proper maintenance schedule. But still, I've seen some horror stories about fairly new Vipers (under 20K miles) needing an engine rebuild already (overheating, and oil consumption problems). Most owners even recommend that a warranty is a must for these vehicles. Do most owners anticipate that something expensive will break within a few years or within a few thousand miles?

I've had my chance on some Japanese high performance cars before (ie: 300ZX Twin Turbo, Supra Twin Turbo), and the reliability was exceptional. I know it's not right to compare the Viper with these vehicles, since there's no other car like the Viper. But I can't help it, since I'm in the market for a used Viper GTS or ACR. I'm not rich like most owners, so I don't want to make a decision I'll regret.

I'd appreciate to hear from ex-Viper owners.

Thanks
