I was looking at some of the vipers at the last event in manassas that had later model dashes in their 94, and since mine is a little scratched, and i saw a 1997 gts dash for sale i was wondering, will a 97 gts dash fit my 94 exactly, with everything in the right places and no extra holes?
thanks!!

I don't think they are compatible. But, my 96 GTS had some scratches on it from when the SOB dealer that I USED to go to damaged it while trying to fix my CD player. Then they claim it was like that, so I won't go to them ever again. Anyways, it has really bugged me with the scratched dash, so I just picked up a new one from Chuck Tator Dodge. I think it was about $275, which I thought was a heck of a deal. So you might wanna call up Chuck Tator and order the right one for your 94.

Yeah, good price since I think they retail at around $600. I had my scratches for 3 years and they bugged the heck out of me too.

Tomcat just refinished the dash in his '94, pulled it out used 1200 grit sand paper got it wonderfully smooth and shot some paint. Looks GREAT at a 10th of the cost of a new dash.

Is there a repair procedure for minor scratches in a 1996 ~ 1997 era dash? My dealer also buggered it up in radio bezel removal and denied responsibility.

Thanks

Ron, I used some #M plastic scratch remover and it only made my scratches look worse. I think the only fix is to sand the entire dash down and repaint it like some have done to spruce up their GEN1's or buy a new dash. Some of those dealers sure are careful with repairs aren't they? NOT!!!
