I've gotten a number of emails asking about my new .sig, so I'll make it official & public -- my wife Liz is selling her '01 Daytona to buy a '03 SRT from Pemberton. If anyone's interested, I posted a complete ad in the VCA board classifieds (under '01 GTS) and you're welcome to contact me with additional questions.

I will note, for the record, that driving around in the Daytona attracts a lot of attention -- it is to a "normal" Viper as a Viper is to most other cars on the road. If you want to be anonymous, look elsewhere. If you're single and looking, this is the car for you

Holy Toledo,Ben, could you find a little more photographic spot for the Daytona. Unbelievable picture and it may be only #2, but it was the first ABS Daytona!

Hey, I could use a third Viper (especially that one). However, I need my '95 back from Doug first. He won't finish mine until your's is done. Any idea when that might be?? E-mail me a price for the Daytona and it's availability, along with anything you know about the finish date of the yellow DLM car.

-Thanks

A 1997 Blue/White GTS, completely stock. I had plans for it, but there are so many options to choose from now.

That's great!!!

I thought it was back at DLM getting a new sand-blasted pulley, and the like, to fix belt slippage. Does he have it back home yet, or is it on the way?

To be clear: my yellow car went from VOI back to Doug's shop. There were a few things remaining to be cleared up: UNITRAX diff to handle the additional power, revised pulley sizing and NOS jetting to make the power levels what I wanted for street & strip use, catalytic converters, line lock, and some other odds & ends. I expect it'll be on a truck back to CA shortly, but I'll never rush Doug: I want it perfect, and so does he.

Yow, that was fast. Daytona #2 is SOLD. Thank you all for your notes about the car; I had no idea it would go so quickly!
