Has there been any policy change with the NEW Chrysler with regards to dealers WITHOUT a Viper tech working on our cars under warranty?
The dealer that I used to go to lost their tech when he went into the Military to resume a career. The only other dealer in my immediate area (madison wi) has a viper tech but I wouldn't let them put gas into my car let alone really work on it.
The really good dealers are a couple of hundred miles away and more. Roanoke, etc.
My selling dealer where I bought my car new from has never had a viper tech but they have two technicians that I have known for years and would trust them to do an organ transplant on me (well almost, but you get my point) I would let them fix my viper. we are looking at tranny swap possibly and R&R a leaking pan gasket. Neither of those items are really complicated tasks.
Is this something that can be done or do I envision a couple of long road trips in my future?
thanks
