I agree, that is absolutely ridiculous. Not in the least for that scale but the attention to detail could definately better in some areas
Maybe if it was some kind of special 1:18.

Those models were $150.00 when they first came out, they made several different models including the RT/10 Indy Pace car. You can't find these any more. They were limited numbers produced, very low numbers I believe 60. They made a special one for the Viper Orlando Invitational purple speed boat along with a purple/black stripes GTS commissioned for Maurice (50) $300.00.
They were produced in Great Britain.
You have to be a serious collector for these and if you are there worth it.
