I want to add on an extra amp in my car, but don't really want to get involved in rewiring everything. I have the 1998 gts and the alpine that came stock with it. It has a din connection and I'm trying to figure out which wire is the pre outs to the rear amp. I want to splice into that. Has anyone done this? If so how?

If you remove the amp from the trunk there is a schematic on the back that shows the 'pin out' that comes directly from the head unit. This should give you what you want and is much simpler than tearing your dash apart to get the same information from the head unit.
