Does Anyone Make a Billet Race Gas Cap for RT/10/

Not trying to make my RT something it isn't, but I have always liked the "finished" look of a racing gas cap...similar to the one on the new ACR.

Does anyone make a good one...as haven't seen any?

What is opinion on this mod to an RT...is it ricey or is it a real upgrade in looks?

MGW only shows for GTS and Zero Flight shows for SRT and trucks. But, they also have logos engraved, which I do not want.

Just looking for, if made, nice brushed aluminum or chome integrated cap.

If I can't find one that adds to the look, then I will stick with stock.

I know this might sound a little off, but is it possible that either the GTS or SRT gas cap/door would fit on an RT/10?

Some one does,I don't know who but I have seen them on the 95 white/blue Shelby Edition R/T 10's.

I didn't want to hurt anyones feelings but it definitly looks like a JC Whittney peel and stick version.

Thanks guys, I did see the "stick on" one, but I want a quality piece otherwise I won't do it. I just thought it would look cool, I put one on my older Vette (way back when) and loved it.

I've looked and just haven't seen anything...too bad MGW doesn't offer something for the RT.

That's what I was thinking, well not necessarily the SRT-10 Ram, even a Gen IV...I've seen one for the latest generation, but not for earlier ones. Seems odd that nobody would offer one, but adapting the GTS cap seems like it would need some outer place fabrication otherwise it will look unfinished....that assuming that it would actually fit.

Was there no racing team that ran an RT/10? Seems that there would have been some racing of the Gen 1's, prior to the GTS introduction...or, maybe I just don't know enough Viper history. If there was a race RT/10, then there probably was a quick fill cap setup.

Starting to feel like I'm just brainstorming here.

You might want to look at a 98 Bullet Mustang gas cap. It's pretty close to what the RT's are like (litle big though) and may be adaptable.

Ok, They were 1995 Shelby Vipers. Sold by Fitzgerald Dodge I think. Mike Shveda has the one I've seen(hello Mike).

Picture of the car is on page 58 Spring 2008 Viper Quarterly. Unfortunately you can not see the gas cap.

V10 Mojo had a GTS fuel filler on his silver 1999 RT/10... if I recall correctlyl everyone said it looked like a big wart. Somewhere there is bound to be a picture.

So, not to make this a long post, I just checked out pics of a beautiful orange '08 SRT Coupe and was looking at the quick fill gas cap that comes with it. It does not stick up like the one that was mentioned on here earlier and, so was wondering whether it can be configured to fit in the RT/10 gas cap opening?

Mind is always going.....
