I have an oil catch can on my 2003 Harley Davidson Supercharged Ford Truck.

It catches the oil and returns it back into the engine on its own ... thus is "self maintained".

You dont have to constantly dump the oil out of the can.

Does anyone make a self maintenance oil catch can for our cars?

If not ... I was curious who all makes a oil catch can for our cars? Which setup have you used, or do you recommend?

Are they a necessity , or usually only used on Forced Induction / track raced cars?

I have a 2001 GTS.

Thanks :) ---

Not sure I would trust the can to send its contents to the crankcase. Not aure about all of them but my catch can collects a bunch of condensate (brown slimy oil/water foam) as well as proper oil. I drain mine. Its nasty stuff...... Its actually easy if you replace the little needle valve with a larger ball-valve style opening and locate it so its easy to get to.

Forgot to mention that my rant above applies to the track car.....I don't use one on the street car - don't need it.
