I asked the same thing. I would have to dealer to it. You may pay more BUT rather be safe then sorry.
So, you believe anyone else is that incompetent? I personally have more faith in aftermarket tuners than dealers. JMO.
Also if you read the warranty it does say "any modifications." This is based upon THERE interpetations, not yours.
Nope, ever heard of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act? Here is some reading for you.

I have had better luck than you because I have always been told (12+ years) that filter system and exhaust (even if full) do not void warranty. Porting and polishing would, because then you have changed the engine. Filters/exhaust don't do that.
While your analizing tha verbage your car sits there collecting dust. ALSO if u do the work somewhere else, your dealership trust me WILL have an attitude. Get the work done at the dealership..
So you should take your car to a dealer for oil changes, brakes, and other
routine non-warranty maintenance? Why would you want to waste your money like that?
EDIT: re above post, some dealers could be treated as tuners, as in the above case. But they are very few and far between, and I only know of two that are like that.
