Does this engine look strange?

That was the first thing I noticed, but also the intake looks funny painted that color.

The silver paint has got to count for some kind of modification bonus points. Each sticker is also one mod point. Add'em all up you have "highly modified".

It's hard to tell, but is there a glimmer of a NOS tube coming into the non-smooth tube...hmmm, actually that would be almost impossible to mount into the corregated tube wouldn't it?

I'd ask to see a dyno on this heavily-stickered engine.

Why the three holes in the left front wheel enclosure?

Looks like a mostly stock, heavily flogged engine to me. Why would anyone 'heavily modify' the engine and not replace the corrugated intake tubes? I am also curious what parts Weiand makes that fit a Viper. Maybe thats a big gray Weiand intake plenum on that thing!

Is this my first Viper rice sighting?

You guys have to remember now that each sticker he has on his fenders is good for atleast 5 h.p. So thats where he's getting the "highly modded" part.

Now I know when I re-paint the valve covers and intake on my car, they will be the same color! Red valve covers with a silver intake........ clash big time! Have seen this done in yellow and black, both looked pretty good...... but mix and match, yuk.

I wouldn't want to see the interior of this guy's house - that paint job and stickers are simply "bad taste" no matter what your sense of style may be. What equates to "highly" when we say highly modified? Perhaps cosmetic changes, but that's using the term modified very loosely!

Read this post yesterday,Woke up this morning and first thing I thought about was those stickers and the silver paint on the manifold and WIRES aaaahhh .Most Viper owners are a class act I just can't fathom how this guy could own a viper . You don't need stickers to prove anything the Viper is proof enough

OMG! With all the stickers for parts the car doesn't even have, the silver spray paint job on the intake, the huge tach, the muffin fan cooling and the big red 'R' sticker, I'd say that this poor GTS must have been stolen by some punk ricers and 'modified' accordingly.

I think as card carrying VCA members it is our duty to start a collection to purchase this "Viper" and put her out of her misery.

I have the first $100.00.

SOCRATES,
Sorry, I miss read. Your former car is in Seattle, do you know if the owner is a VCA member? Perhaps I (we) could contact him/her and encourage his/her membership?? We have a lot of fun events scheduled for this year. Oh, I won't look for any stickers on the car; OK?
Later,
