Re: Don\'t Seem To Fit In \'02 R/T

You let the seat all the way back then reach under the steering wheel and adjust the pedals as far back as they can go. There is a knob under the steering wheel which allows you to adjust the distance of the pedals. With the pedals and seat adjusted my brother in law (6'4) had no discomfort in driving it. Me on the other hand (5'10) will never have that problem.

First make sure the seat is all the way back by bringing the seatback up and moving it all of the way back in the track and
then returning the seatback. Adjust the pedals.
The GTS should have more headroom as well.
Last but not least do a search for seat lowering kits on the board.
Good luck.

Re: Don\'t Seem To Fit In \'02 R/T

As previously stated, adjust the pedals all the way down first! Will make a huge difference. You should fit Ok then, not real comfortable, but decent enough. Then you should call Northwind and get the 2" seat lowering kit! You will be good-to-go then!
I am over 6'5" and with the 2" kit and I can wear a helmet at the track w/o tilting my head to the side! (Like I had to at the Midwest Rendz. in the ACR!) I drove my first Viper for 5k miles before getting the 2" kit, how stupid I felt afterwards!!!
Don't be too discouraged! You will fit fine!
