i would NOT use drilled they are a poser mod. Not sure if the "dimpled" have the same type of weaknesses or not. Just an FYI the GTS/R race cars that won LeMans had solid rotors(no slots or dimples at all). drilled will eventually develop stress fractures if used hard. I would probably use slotted. I would also go to the 2pc with alum hats to save weight as an added bonus.

also use the search feature on this site it will provide you with lots of info

I have the Baer two piece rotors, slotted and drilled for cooling. Also, the "blue" racing disc pads. This car was set up for racing at VIR in Virginia, and I can attest that even in normal street use they stop RIGHT NOW! I have been surprised more than once and when I hit the brakes, it was almost scary how fast she whoa's down. On a '99 GTS, by the way.

100% agree with SylvanSRT. You will not find drilled rotors on any serious racecars, at least none that I know of.

Here is a nice example of drilled rotors failing.

I run slotted on my cars but solid should work fine too.

Since I am such a pic *****... ;)

My Z, the two-piece design is MUCH lighter than the one-piece versions.

My GTS, still a very heavy rotor but cheaper than OEM.

Rolex Sports Car series Daytona Prototype brakes. Note that these particular slots are angled forward at the top. Many people think this is incorrect but its the cooling vanes that are important if they are directional. These veins angle torards the rear at the top as they should. The point is that the slots can go either way if the veins are not directional.
