It looks like I will have to go with concrete for the steep incline.

Problem 1: I am renting a great house. I don't want to damage the drive way i.e. pour the mix onto the current driveway. Will I be able to pour the mix on to plywood so I can remove it later?

Problem 2: Not ever working with concrete before, what should I look out for. What is the best way to build or mold the ramp. Can you do it by hand with out any molds??

You would need a "bond breaker" layer to be placed under the concrete. Roofing felt would work, or heavy plastic, but the underlying surface needs to be pretty uniform.

I know a very good road and street contractor based in Honolulu, but they do work on most of the islands. Would you like me to get you a contact name?
