2 very different numbers I'd say!!

like around 5000 grand is always nice for burnouts....

for a good launch in the 1500 range is potent with a feather out and your glider will fly.......

for burnouts, lock the fronts w/ a line lock, and drop the clutch in 1st around 3K, keeping the RPMS up. at 5K quickly shift into 2nd while keeping your foot on the gas. you can probably keep it in second for the remainder of the fry. Pilots are expensive though ;)

for accel, just be gental w/ the clutch and ride it out some... not droped and not neutral... give and take depending on how well it's hooking untill it has good bite then let the clutch out the rest of the way. Note: rpm's will be low... 1K+ range

If you are a novice, purchase a line lock for your burnouts and a shift light for your shifts. Your car will be dyno'd and the shift light will be set to come on at EXACTLY the proper time through the gears.

Toe the brake pedal, second gear and 4500 rpm, get to the bite point on the clutch then let it out smart. Don't just slide your foot off / dump the clutch, with it pressed to the floor.

Practice with a little water under your rears at first, will ease things.
