What is holding on the E brake handle? I am thinking of shedding the blue leather covered items in my car, the stering wheel and shift knob I can figure out, but I see no fasteners on the brake lever.

Don't "shed"!!! Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in a mere trade!! It is VERY simple...I did the change (to red) on my car last year. All three items. The E-brake is a bit harder than everything else. You have to take out the whole center console to ge the e-brake assembly out. Time consuming...but not hard. Steering wheel is easy too (though I made it harder because the darn airbag scared the crap outta me!!!). There are some special steps to get the e-brake handle assembly out...I seem to recall a set screw, and an "equalizer" (?). No matter...I have the manual and can look it up for you.

I think I only got about .5RWHP out of that...but you HAVE to do all three items in the interior...and the POSER points are doubled! :)

I actually AM working on doing mods that make the car go faster (the ONLY mod for TVC...right???). :)

Hey Tony, I know your sending your snake up to the "WIZARD" soon, for the secret mods you have in mind, I can now only hope I can keep up with you this spring after only having only head work and exhaust done, I guess after a spanking from that red monster I may have to step up to a "ROE". We are going to have a lot of fun this year in Southeastern VA......

Tony,

Thanks again for trading with me :) This way, my car is much more subtle with the all black interior :)

BTW, where are the pix with the black wheels!?!?!?

So as not to hijack the thread, the shop manual describes how to get the ebrake handle off. Took about 40 minutes following the cookbook.

Ciao,

Ben
