I read in a previous post (i think by Joel from UK) about compressing the factory shocks a full turn and a quarter clockwise to improve the ride/handling. will this work on a car that has eibochs?
Exactly what I have...but I am going to peel them off again, turn the fronts all the way to the max, and back the rears off to just a half a turn for better traction...
G, since youve got the same setup as I, hows the ride quality with regard to gutbusting, performance, and skipping? you did all four at one and a quarter turn right? so now youre going to do front further clockwise and rears backed of some? how much backing off and why the change?
Ride quality is the same, or it must be, as I didn't notice if it changed, it's already quite stiff, but this doesn't bother me in the least...handles very, very well...I just want my front a little firmer, and the rear a little softer...
This time when I am done I will have the front to the firmest dampening settings, and the rear will be one half turn...
Stock settings are the softest dampening...full soft...totally lame...When you peel them off, try to turn them counterclockwise...you'll see what I mean...they already are turned all the way counterclockwise...
