<FONT face="Comic Sans MS">While perusing through a 2001 Viper owners manual, I noticed that Dodge has incorporated a little known item called the "Engine Cooldown Assist Feature".
You can access it if:
The battery has a high enough voltage
&
The engine is at 235 degree or more
If you shut the engine off and then turn the ignition to run, plus have met the above two conditions, the fan will come on and run for 5 minutes.
I see no mention of it in my 1996 manual so I assume it's an updated function. Looks like they liked Sean Roe's idea....</FONT f>
