thx for input. dude claims he got exhaust thru hennnesssey. exhaust note is too quiet for me at idle & gets louder at wot of course. really hope hi-flows make it sound more aggressive. also, wasn't sure about resonators??? leave in or take it?

I would say corsa from the link pipe just before the mufflers plus the borla's the mufflers are removable without cutting....
All the best

The dude may have bought the exhaust from John, however, that is not a He nnessey custom exhaust.

Sorry, I have no idea what kind of exhaust it is but I'd have to agree with others that it is only a catback modification. Looking at the tips it looks like you're running a little rich. Might want to checkout you're A/F ratio. Good luck.

the newer corsa uses the double wall tip.,,,but the rest does look similar to corsa.
are the pipes 3"?

yes....factory flex pipe.

P.S. if it is truly a corsa it would have already replaced the factory resonators with mufflers.

and getting rid of factory converts. will make louder/cooler.

yes, pipes are 3". old dude i bought from purchased car new in july 98 & he had these mods done shortly thereafter (probably 99.) thought for sure someone would've been able to identify by now.

here's another pic from behind, don't know if this helps...

If the tips are double wall and are cut in at a 45' angle they are corsa.

the above pic looks like double wall tips.

Looks 99% to be a corsa similar to my setup.

the rear pipes/muffler/clamps look dead ringer for corsa.
Probably is corsa. Many consider corsa to be the quietest of aftermarket setups.

damn it man. been reading tons of exhaust posts & if i wuz paying $2000 - $2500 (is this accurate?) for a stinkin' catback system installed, corsa would've been my last choice due to its quietness. the car is quiet at idle & sounds "ok." the tips however do look rad. will see how it sounds after ripping those nasty cats & resonaters out & going hi-flow. if it does not cut it, can always put different mufflers on.

another question - o2 sensors, are any other o2 sensors located under sidesill? i think in the one pic above, the o2 sensors have already been reinstalled.

That's where aftermarket headers come into play. Add some Belangers and you'll have that deep sonorous sound without the drone of B&B's and Borla's. :headbang:

dude, no doubt i would luv to add those headers. i just can't bring self to pay $2,500 for some headers. damn it jim, i'm not a doctor. sound i'm lookin for & i know, i know, it basically can't be had, is sound of a supercharged saleen. totally wicked earth crushing sound. and what do i got, 450 hp and a "nice rumble." psssst.

ps: nice plate. i won't ask the obvious question you must be sick of, "ever get pull over & what happened?" nope. not gonna ask it.
