Will SRT produce any cars with exposed carbon fiber? Looks like some other manufactures are going that route with some of their cars.

You could do some shorty stripes, something like the SRT stripes, that have exposed carbon for the stripes from bonnet to boot, LOL. That would look downright racey.

I know im one of the very few but i just dont like the look of carbon fibre. It looks cheap to me. I much prefer something covered in nice leather.

Whatever is done, the carbon needs UV protection.

Case and point, the carbon inner fender liners on the Gen 3/4 car, if they are exposed to the sun, after a few months you push your finger right through them, no more super strong carbon fiber.

All it needs is a good UV olear coat. They already did exposed CF wings and splitters.
I have some buddies with cheap aftermarket hoods where you can see the cheap clear faded.

SRT is well very aware of carbon fiber - thank you - we just launched the all new carbon upperbody on Gen 5...

But, you may not be aware that much of carbon is not the carbon "weave" material that looks so **** exposed. Instead, it is a very strong unidirectional material which does not look so ****. Sounds like some middle-aged guys I know... really strong, not so ****...

Anyway, the entire 'upper body' of the new Viper is 100% hand layed up carbon (like Red Bull F1, seriously!!) and you will have to trust SRT Engineering and Design, but we'll let you see it. When you're ready, that is. ;) Until then, you can just enjoy how ridiculously strong the carbon body work is, and realize that noone else outside Italy offers this (at anywhere near this price point).

Just facts. Thanks for listening!

I like the exterior carbon fiber option for the viper. A bit expensive for what it is imo, but it really enhances the look of the car in a subtle way. I don't think I'd want entire body panels displaying that bare cf look...been done to death by the ricer crowd.
