Factory amp question

i plan on upgrading the not so premium alpine premium audio system, and i was wondering how many channels X watts the amp is. thanks a lot guys.

I believe they all were two channel amps. I replaced mine with 600W two channel amp, but you can take them both out and just stick in a single four channel amp. Good luck.

there are 2 amps??? am i missing something. in the rear of the gts there is just one amp mounted in the hatch. are u talking about the same amp?

I have the R/T,(should have noted that). In the R/T there are two amps, not sure about the GTS, but I would suspect that you have two as well because as I understand it, they use the same amps(two channels). Can't believe your system would only use one of these little things, but somebody with a GTS needs to chime in here. Anybody?

I have a R/T only one amp left hand side of trunk.
sound quality is not the greatest in stock setup.
Hopefully will upgrade this spring.
