I know this is going to sound dumb on my part and I do take the
full blame....
But, hoping to help out anyone else that this might happen to, here is the story,
Saturday morning I take the car out and I'm having a blast and all
of a sudden I hear this loud hissing noise... I'm thinking for just a second, ***.... and it dawn'd on me... I've got a flat tire.
So I pull over to the side and sure enough the tire is going down
as I stand there... not to worry I'm telling myself, I just bought a new set of tires last week and was going to put them on soon any way and no damage to the car...
So I open the hatch and pull the spare out, the jack and tool...
Then bend down to start taking the nuts off of the wheels...
Oh sh.., the tool isn't going to take the nuts off of the
Kenesis Wheels... no way, the end of the tool is too large.
Now I'm thinking " what a dumb sh.." I always carry a braker bar and socket in all my cars with custom wheels... for some reason it just did not register with me that I had not put the same in the Viper... so I'm stuck, but for just a little while as I call the wife and she comes to my rescue. But it could have been farther from home and lots more trouble than it turned out to be.
So anyway, I hate to post such a dumb post, but for those that
do have custom wheels... don't forget to try out the viper tool
to see if you can change out a flat tire or get yourself a braker
bar and socket in the car for emergencies... you'l thank yourself
if you check this out now versus when you need it.
