Floormats on New 2008 Viper

Just picked up my '08 SRT-10 Coupe last night--looks amazing and the GTS blue/Silver Strips paint is awesome--and noticed that there are no floormats.

1. Is this normal?

2. What to you recommend for mats? I saw the "plus mats" at partsrack but I am not sure that is what I want.

Totally normal, as only a few special/limited editions have come with floor mats.

We have plenty of the factory ones in stock, but the Northern California Viper Club has a very nice set they sell as a Club project and you may want to look into those.

Wallbanger is correct that the mats would come with the protection group, which also includes a car cover. The mats can not be ordered from the factory as a stand alone, and frankly the mats and the cover can be purchased for less than the $450 cost of Protection Pkg. from virtually all of the VCA Member Sponsors.

Is there a special trunk mat for the '08? We bought mats from northern California viper club, the problem is the shape of the trunk mat is wrong, and does not fit correctly.

I found the Speedonline site as well but their site is not functioning properly so I will order on Monday.

Today the window tint went on and on Monday the Venture Shield will be added in all key spots.

Interestingly, the tint installer was not successful in installing the exterior windshield plastic due to the extreme curves of the windshield. He did the inside of the windshield with light tint, but the exterior clear plastic protectant is thicker and more difficult to install.
