PartsRack has had a handful of '03 owners admit to passionately coveting the 2004 red calipers. (Those who want Red BREAKS we can help you, too.) Here is a great opportunity, if you want "RED INSTEAD".....

Since Coveting Your Neighbors Brakes is NOT sinful:

PartsRack can provide you with FOUR OE SRT-10 "Loaded" Red Calipers, to bolt-on your black-calipered 2003. This is a direct-swap-out of RED for BLACK. Nicely Under $1000. Maybe way under. For all other details Please Call, Please call, please call.

"Loaded" = complete with pistons, boots, seals installed, ready to swap. No pads. All other questions voice only. Call? THANKS.

Why not just paint the black ones red? They make special paint to do this. How are a set of new calipers worth any where near $1000.00 more than a set of nearly new ones?, am I missing something? Take the wheels off the car, get a caliper paint kit, and paint them. Who wants to mess with all that labor, bleeding and brake fluid mess?

----If you read the temp range of those paint-on kits, they wont stand up to track temps.

----If you like OEM and OEM logos, you might want these

---- If you trade in your OE blacks, you get a REBATE

---- If you paid to have 'em powdercoated, you'ld lose the logo and pay almost as much !

LIKE WE SAID: Coveting the O4 is why. No one covets some red paint-on I guess

I think I will covet the black ones. That may be the only year with black over the long haul. But that is just me.

And Jon, just because I don't go for everything I do appreciate you making options available to us. Keep em coming.

Just got my set in the mail and Chuck Tator is installing them as I type. They look awesome in the box, can't wait to see them on the car. I'll post pics soon.
