wondering if anyone else has replaced front pins on a viper hardtop? I found that the new hardtop i got for my '94 has too short of front pins... anyone know if there is a substitute from the auto parts store or is this something i'm going to have to go to dodge for? (or fabricate myself)..
Thanks!

I don't know what brand hardtop you have, but mine came from Bruce Venable.

I too noted that the pins were too short, but there were access holes on both sides which allowed me to adjust the length of the pins. Bruce walked me through it and I was able to attain a good. tight fit.

the top is the factory mopar top.. sounds like i need to pull the things out and see if i can adjust them down farther before going down different routes.. i was even thinking i could use the pins off the softtop if push comes to shove..
Thanks for the info!

I bought a hardtop a few years back with the wrong pins. I used the pins from my softop and then adjusted the depth. There is a retaining clip and you can adjust the depth a few 1/16's of an inch. Good luck. Hopefully you can use the pins you have already which will save you like a few bucks. I thought new pins were kinda expensive - like $50...been a while!
