Hi all,

I am looking at a 97 GTS that has been sideswiped .
It was sold thru a insurance pool and I am buying it from a
company that sells rebuildables.
The question I had was .... It seems the car won't start after
the wreck. It did not blow the bags so it wasn't that bad of a impact. The owner says he had heard that the fuel pump gets
unhooked or broke or something durring a impact. If this is true ,then can it be repaired or does it have to have a new pump installed. He has 3 wrecks at this time and all have the same problem. (won't start and isn't getting gas)Is there some kind of switch that cuts off the fuel pump ? They used that system on fords. You just pushed a reset button to get the pump to run.
Anyone heard of this ??
Feel free to e-mail me direct at [email protected] or post here. I am new to these cars and could use some guidence.

BTW ..any idea what this car is worth?
